Search for Spotify Desktop
1 Open Google or another search engine and type ‘Spotify Windows app“. The app download page is the first organic result. So, click it to visit the Spotify website www.spotify.com/download/windows.

Get the Spotify Setup File
2 The Spotify player is available on the App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft app store for mobile and tablet devices. But you can download the Spotify desktop app for Windows by clicking the ‘Download’ white button in the centre. If you don’t see this button, you may find the link ‘Download directly from Spotify‘.

Install Spotify Desktop for Windows
3 After getting the installer SpotifySetup.exe, click it to launch the wizard, and then wait for automatic download and installation.



Sign up for Spotify
4 When the installation is complete, log in with your credentials (if you already have them). Otherwise, create a new free account. In case the social sign-ups with Facebook and Google don’t work, register with your email address.
So, enter your email, create a password, write a custom profile name, insert your birthdate (including day, month, and year), tell your gender, subscribe to the optional newsletter, and read and accept the Spotify Terms of Service and Privacy Statement. Finally, press ‘Sign up‘.



Log in to Spotify
5 Now, you can go back to the Windows app and log in. To do that, click ‘SETTINGS‘, ‘BACK‘, and then ‘Log in‘. Since you registered a minute ago, you will already be logged in. So, press “CONTINUE TO THE APP‘ to move to the final step.
