About Apex Legends
Apex Legends is a free-to-play action battle royale shooter game where you play the role of legendary characters possessing powerful abilities (soldiers, outlaws, misanthropes, and misfits).
After decades of conflict, the Frontier War is finally over. Now, you spend your time competing in the Apex Games. You must team up with other warriors (Legends from all corners of the Frontier) and round up your ultimate squad to fight for fame, fortune, money, and glory.

Select the Windows Platform
1 Visit www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/buy/pc. Now, you have two options: the Steam platform or the Electronic Arts App. So, click the dropdown button on the top right corner and select ‘Steam on PC‘ to visit the website. On there, click ‘Play Game‘, install the Steam client, create an account, and download the game.
For this tutorial, we choose the second option. So, from the dropdown button, select ‘The EA App for Windows‘. Then, press ‘Play for Free‘ on the right.
Install & Launch the EA App
2 Download and install the Electronic Arts app for Windows by clicking the related link on the dialogue box. You will be prompted to the app landing page. Once there, press the ‘Download the EA app‘ black button, and run the installer file. At completion, launch the EA app from your Windows Start Menu.
Register & Sign In
3 Sign in with your Electronic Arts credentials. If you don’t have them, proceed with creating a new account. You can also use your social media credentials by choosing between PlayStation, X box, Steam, Apple, Facebook, and Google. Let’s opt for the latter. So, choose one of your Google accounts if you have more than one, and press ‘Continue‘. Then, select your Country or region and input your date of birth.
After clicking ‘Next‘, set the profile visibility, subscribe to the optional newsletter if you want, and accept the User Agreement, Privacy and Cookie Policy. Next, click ‘Create Account‘ to obtain an EA ID. Ultimately, finalise the process by clicking ‘Next‘. The EA app will open automatically.
Search for Apex Legends
4 Take a tour to discover the EA app features. Then, search for Apex Legends by typing the title in the search bar on the top. Now, visit the product page by clicking the Apex Legends image underneath.
Download & Install Apex Legends
5 Press the ‘Download‘ blue button, select the installation location, set the game language, and tell whether to create the desktop shortcut. Remember. You need 62 Gigabytes of free space to install Apex Legends successfully. When you are ready, press ‘Next‘, read the terms of play, and click ‘Download‘.
At this point, the process will run automatically. You can pause and resume the download anytime and perform other activities while downloading. When complete, you can manage the installation by viewing the properties or uninstalling the game.
Launch & Play Apex Legends
6 Click the ‘Play‘ blue button on the right to launch the game. When loading is complete, press ‘Continue‘ and have fun in your futuristic battles.
